It is always time well spent when you are with the youth. Demolay, Rainbow and Job's Daughters converged on Flint for the annual Demolay Winterfest, loaded with indoor and outdoor fun. Since I get enough outdoor fun at home, I decided to spend some indoor time with the cards. Euchre was the name
of the game, and I was partnering with Roger. He is fun to have on the team. later on in the day MWB Dean was my partner. I'm sure he wonders if we were really playing euchre. We had the dynamic duo from Clio as our opponents, and I must say, they can learn new habits rather quickly. All in all, a fun day. Arriving at Winterfest, I (almost) ran into the SMC, as he was fine tuning his driving skills, and this afternoon I challenged him to show me what he had, so he loaded the GWA and GBHQ in the car, and drove backwards around the Hotel building. Not just for my amusement, but to gain some support for his charity project. He got even later on though, when I was subjected to the charity pie throwing contest. I've never had so much dairy product so close to my skin and be on the inside........ It took an hour long cold shower to stop smelling like Bessy the cow just finishing her daily routine.......
