Happy Rock = Gladstone Lodge 396
I stopped by to visit with WB Frank Irons and the guys at Gladstone Lodge No. 396. There were a small groups this evening, they didn't know I was coming, that's the way I like it. WB Frank teased me about letting him know I was coming so he could make me a peanut butter pie. What a guy. If anyone is keeping track, I have visited 8 of my 18 Lodges in the U.P. so far in the first 2-1/2 months. Gladstone is home to many old friends, a lot of which are passed on. This Lodge is famous for its fishing Derby for the kids each year. Tomorrow I head for Potterville, home of the gizzard festival. There the Grand Lodge Officers will dedicate the Lodge building they have erected, in Ancient Masonic Form and ceremony......
