This afternoon I got a head of the snow storm and traveled to Alma for my meetings on Tuesday. Made a few phone calls cut up on some paperwork, otherwise it's been a quiet day. You know how sometimes when you're working on a project you just can't get it to function the way that you been trying. Well this is been one of those weeks, so I stepped away from the project didn't spend any more time thinking about it and then went back and in a matter of a few keystrokes I was able to make my project function exactly the way I intended in the first place.
It reminds me of when flying an airplane and you hit turbulence or the flying gets rough, you don't increase the speed of the plane, you slow it down so that you can get it under control, much the same way that in a car when you come across the bumpy road you wouldn't speed up to lose control of the car, you would slow down to gain control. That's pretty much the way that I approach this project, instead of putting a lot of time in it, I backed away and looked at it from a different perspective and then took a few small steps in order to be successful. Sometimes it's simply going back to the basics that make all the sense in the world.......
