We are always interested in making the world a better place to live. When you hear of men who are making that happen, you want to hear the story, and maybe join in with the success that is happening. I am extremely grateful that I was given a couple hours to listen to Mitch Albom talk about Detroit, its homeless population, and how he has made a difference in the lives of so many, with a plan to help from cradle to grave. I was impressed with the passion he has, the real life stories of what is working, and how his vision and partnerships are bringing people out of obscurity. From his experience of spending the night at the rescue mission, to his successful projects to cut through red tape, and help those who need help, and are willing to give back in return. I had a lot to think about on the way home today............... If you have the resources and the ability to make a difference, You may
want to consider partnering with the Michigan Masonic Charitable
Foundation to make something huge happen. How about reopening a Library
to turn around the close to 50 % of Detroit residents who struggle to
read?
