I had a chance Friday afternoon to visit with the Ahmed Shriners in Marquette, where the new officers were installed for 2015. Doug Wolfe, long time friend was installed as the new Potentate. The Necrology report reminded me that we have lost John Akkala and Jimmie Hobaugh. While there was strong support of the Past Potentates on the sidelines at the regular meeting, only 6 nobles were present who had not served as Potentate. That is a scary thing to see, and I am hoping it was purely because of the cold and snowy day. I noted that the Divan has several Clowns serving in its ranks.
