A fantastic day I must say. I started out by meeting with the residents of Masonic Pathways, and the Alma Area. I installed the Officers of Alma Lodge # 244 in the Doig Chapel at 1:00 pm WB Duane Todd became the Master of the Lodge, along with a dedicated group of officers, I look forward to hearing of the growth in the lodge, their trestle board is full. I couldn't help myself, when I was reading the ancient charges to my Dear Brother Todd, I added No. 16 " I agree that when I am playing suffleboard with the Grand Master, I will always allow him to win" That charge may be a little more current than the rest were, and the group chuckled. I almost got him to agree ;-) Alma Lodge honored me with an honorary membership. Thank you dear brothers, this means the world to me....Well, after having a piece of cake and some punch, it was in the car, and I went directly to Hell.
So if any of you have the thought in that back of your mind to tell the Grand Master where to go, just remember, been there, done that......
Showed up at Livingston Lodge, and enjoyed the company of several old friends, and met a few new ones. Darel "Butch" Winslow was installed Master of the Lodge. He also has great plans and a full trestleboard for the Lodge to be moving forward. It was the first time since 1938 that a sitting Grand Master was present in the Lodge to install its officers.ended up with the crazy Troll doll, that does something to music.
