Tonights visit is McMillan Lodge in Newberry

I  traveled to Newberry this evening to visit with my neighbors. The Lodge is moving forward in leaps and bounds.  There was an examination of two EA brothers on their proficiency, the Lodge nominated its Officers for next year, the BGP representative was there and made presentation on several items of interest to the Lodge.  Then a surprise. WB Travis Freeman presented to me a photograph take outside the Masonic Home (Pathways) in 1932 of the entire Grand Lodge Delegation.  In the photo is the Grand porch, and to the right you can see the Grand Lodge offices, since the Doig Chapel wasn't there. Also to the left, the 1991 addition is not there.  It is a very nice depiction of the improvements that have got us to today. It was found in a local hunting camp on the wall with personal photographs in front of a panoramic view.  Was almost going to be thrown away.  It bears the name of Albert J. Young, of Delta Lodge # 195, a Past Grand Master of Michigan Masons. I will be passing the treasure forward to the Masonic Pathways Administration in an upcoming visit.
