Craig and the GM |
It sounds all governmental doesn't it? Well, in the world I revolve it, it means reducing the pile of homework down so you can see whats on the counter for supper. Sometimes you have to take a break from the road (My Thursday stuff is caught up) and focus on the people. Many men received a phone call from the Grand Master today. Some to say hi, others to explain their logic. Got a lot of return calls, got to finish some forms, and spent some time chatting with the craft. Last evening I spent some time chatting with my Katie, I'll be going to Paw Paw in a couple weeks to visit her, and support her efforts in OES. She has a big heart, and really wants to make a difference. The kind of difference that many think about, but are scared to admit that it is the right thing to do. So reducing the pile of paper is not necessarily working as well as I thought, because my Grand Secretary keeps stacking more on the top. It has been a productive afternoon though, I need a few more of those before the 15th of this month. Just a shout out to those Scottish Rite Masons around Michigan (or abroad for that matter) The Valley of Marquette will be holding their Reunion in my Honor on October 18th. Feel free to come visit and make reservations for the banquet. You will even hear the Grand Master speak. And it may very well be from prepared notes, a rare occasion indeed. He usually speaks from the first place he was prepared to be made a Mason. His heart. Lots to say, and want to stay focused this round....... There will be memories shared. Oh, and Craig Maison and the Traverse City crew are coming up to cook the dinner. Prime Rib of course. It will be a fantastic day in Marquette.
