1312 Michigan Masons are not represented in District 13, because the meeting failed to produce any nominations for an election. In fact there were less that 20 members present at the election meeting.
6 out of 14 Lodges had no representation at this meeting. One of the things that means, is that a well deserving "Lodge Mason of the Year" from each of the 14 Lodges will NOT be considered for the "District Mason of the Year" NOR will he be in the running for "State Mason of the Year". It means that regular information about the happenings of Michigan Masonry will not be flowing to these 14 Lodges on a regular basis. It means that education on the programs of Grand Lodge will not be discussed with these 1312 Michigan Masons. I fail to believe that we have no Masonic Leaders in Kent, Barry, Eaton or Clinton county, nor that there is not at least one man desirous of serving Michigan Masonry as a Board of General Purpose member from this District.
