Today's activities evolve around the Royal Arch Masons, headed up by the Most Excellent Grand High Priest Keifer. Fancy name for the Presiding officer. The events were typical of a meeting, determine if there is a constitutional number present to hold a meeting, Introductions, Minutes, Reports for the year, proposed Law Changes, Election of new Officers, installation of Officers and the Honorary degree after all of the Chapter activities are concluded. Its a lot to do in a few short hours, and can be a challenge if you are not diligent in executing your agenda. The picture to the left is one of the many awards that are presented for exemplary service to the Companions of the Royal Arch for their devotion to the Chapter. This one shown is the Distinguished Ritualist Award. My Congratulations to Louis C McCray who was Elected and installed as the New MEGHP for the ensuing year. Also Alvin Miller was elected to the bottom of the Moving Line, and Jeff Heaven was elected to the Grand Sentinels post outside the door. (Sure hope he asked Sandy ;-) An informal dinner was enjoyed this evening with a Mexican theme, complete with a solo Mariachi to serenade us. Note to self, re-fried beans should be avoided.
