Its the last day of Imperial before heading back to Michigan. So how many Shriners does it take to vote on changes to their Laws. Today's Eligibility was 1208. Plus visitors, the place was bustling with guys with funny little hats ;-) The 35 Grand Masters took time to pose for a group picture (Canadians were late), then were introduced and got our pictures taken with the Imperial Potentate after lunch.... Its not good to leave Grand Masters in a room together very long. Lunch actually, is all it took for me to to start formulating a plan to have Michigan, Indiana and Ohio each do a Degree on one day. I stuck my hat in the ring to do the EA, Ohio likes the FC and Indiana can do the MM degree. Sounds fun to me, now to find a location in the sweet spot of all three states, and finish the plans. We three did agree.

During this afternoon, there were 8.2 Million dollars in donations on the stage to support the Hospitals. Our own Moslem Temple came in to make a presentation, pretty impressive half hour.
I have took time to learn a lot more about this organization that I never knew, even though I have been a Shriner since 85. It has been a great experience, everyone has been very gracious and accommodating. Now its time to pack up, and head to the Amway, where I can hardly wait to be with my girls. Job's Daughter girls that is. We will be doing a video on Thursday and Friday evening, so watch the blog for more information .....
