Coffee Chat with Residents, 70 yr pin presentation, Lunch and a Meeting
Had a few extra moments to snooze this morning as I prepared for a visit with Pathways residents. I enjoy sitting and talking with them, hearing their concerns, sharing what I'm doing and feeling of their spirit. I took a few moments around lunch time to present a 70 year membership pin to Bob Mervau who resides at Masonic Pathways. The Three board luncheon is always a great place to hear each groups activities that are of interest to the others. Represented at the Luncheon are the Grand Master, the Charitable Foundation Executive Director and Masonic Pathways CEO. Many ideas are spawn out of this informal setting, and its a chance for us to peek at calendars to make sure we are on the same page. After lunch, a break (maybe a power nap for the ride home) and them the Grand Lodge Board of Directors meeting in the Grand Lodge Office. I appreciate our staff and the work they do to make this gentle craft function. There is so much that happens in a day, one can hardly contain the volume of information single handed. I'm looking forward to getting home this evening to be with my Angela, to unpack and reset for the next adventure...... Tomorrow night is Edgar A. Guest Award night in my own lodge of Grand Island No. 422. Don't know what the Guest Award is? Stay tuned.......
