Work, Network, Homework and Family

Grand Lodge Officers - Miners Castle
Today has been numbered as one of the most rewarding.  Started early, at 9:00 am with the Grand Lodge Officers getting together to discuss the current trends and issues facing Michigan Masons, along with some talking points. After Lunch we gathered our families together and headed to Munising to take a ride out and see Pictured Rocks. It was raining a bit, but the trip was great, most everyone had smiles on their faces.  For some of my Grand Lodge Family, it was their first time seeing the Rocks.  Angela and I then took the Family out on a Friday Night, usually our Date night, to the Buckhorn Resort.

While at Supper I related the story of our Waitress to the Grand Lodge Family. Her mom and dad were returning to home several years ago, and while passing Alma ran into some health difficulties, resulting in mom requiring Long Term Care.  The Masonic Home had an opening, and Mom spent 6 years at the Masonic Home before passing.  Dad and the rest of the family are very generous in their comments about the quality of our Masonic Pathways CCRC.  It warms my heart to know that we take care of older members and even those who are not members.  That is our mission as men and Masons......
