Charity.  We all feel it at some time or another.  The Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation of Michigan is the Charitable arm of Michigan Masonry.  It provides funding for many excellent programs including, Masonic Youth Groups, Child ID, Scholarships for both youth and Members educational enrichment, Model Student Assistance to train teachers, Matching funds for Lodge community charity projects, the Michigan Masonic Museum and Library in Grand Rapids, our widows and orphans and the biggest kept secret, Masonic Pathways, our Continuing Care Retirement Community located in Alma.

Each year the Foundation holds an event to recognize those folks who have opened their hearts to Charity, and decided to support the Foundation and its Mission.  Membership in the Lewis Cass Legacy Society is open to those who pledge monetary support, either now, or after they are deceased.  This event celebrates these individuals, and recognizes them for their untiring devotion to the cause. Support comes in many ways including ongoing donations, Charitable gift annuities, stocks, securities, bequests, Trusts and many many other ideas You have worked all your life to have what you have.  Why not make sure that what you have earned continues to work for others in your name for decades to come.

This years Lewis Cass Event was held at Masonic Pathways to showcase the history of caring for our members, and to show everyone what an top notch Facility we maintain for our care. A member only need be a mason for 10 years, and be 60 yrs old for entry into the Retirement Community.  But did you know that you dont have to be a Mason to live at Masonic Pathways ?  Its true.
