A Grand Master has to kiss a baby or two.

On a rare occasion the Grand Master has the opportunity to witness the circle of life.  Such was the case today as I was able to hold the newborn of Stephanie and Richard. I remember when my own Stephanie LeVeque was in Jobs daughters with the proud mother of this little one. There were three Stephanie's that year, and it kept the Adults on their toes. So today while momma was visiting with the grown-ups at Dad Ken Smiley's funeral visitation, I snuck over to hold the precious little one who just came into the world. Dad Pratt wasn't sure at first, but as I cradled Daniel's head, it came back like riding a bicycle, and I heard daddy start breathing again. What a sweet few minutes to hold a tiny infant, knowing his potential in the world, and knowing he has been placed with a family who will love, nurture and educate him, and prepare him for this journey through life. For most, you need to stop and smell the roses, but this Grand Master is content just to kiss a baby or two along the way ;-)
