I'm packing the car for a trip to Traverse City today, where I had the honor and pleasure of presenting a 70 year pin at 6:00 pm to Ernie Beutler. A fantastic meal of corn beef and cabbage was prepared by John, Dave and the kitchen crew, Craig was there, and sang a couple of songs dear to my heart. Thanks Craig. WM Mike presented me with an Honorary membership to Traverse City Lodge, and a very nice gift basket. These are the moments when you know masonry is working. I can tell from the activity of the Lodge, the excitement of the membership, and the kindness of the brothers that they are in the Masonic sweet spot.
