Woke up this morning to 47 degrees in Sarasota. Boarded the plane at 7:00 am to head back to Detroit, and then on for a 7 hour drive to Munising. The first segment of the trip to Atlanta was uneventful, except for the Front bathroom in the plane being out of order. The trip from Atlanta to Detroit was good, a little bumpy, but we made it just in time to see the Flight Schedule boards turn all red, and Detroit Metro shut down literally 5 minutes after we walked off the plane. The car trip took us out on the freeway, where I felt at home, 5 to 8 inches of snow on the road, except everyone around me was panicking, so it literally took me an extra two hours to make it home. When I walked in the door at 11:30 pm it was 2 degrees above.......
And so another successful trip home from the sunshine state...... Thanks for the memories........
