Grand Lodge of Minnesota - Opening Day

The Grand Lodge opened early morning, and there were reports from may of the Committees and Officers.  The one that stood out for me was the speech from the Grand Orator.  Very informative, educational, and touching.  The Masonic charities made a presentation on their plans to build a Grand Lodge and Museum building.  In the afternoon there were breakout sessions on various topics.  Those in attendance were educated on several topics.  In the evening there was an inspiring presentation by Jakub Tolar, a Doctor from the University of Minnesota, on the research that Minnesota Charities is supporting.  Great strides in making Minnesota a better place to live.  The evening ended with a presentation by the Grand Master to a brother who saved a life at the peril of his own.  True masonic tenets were told.
