Well, maybe not life, but the circle of membership in the Youth organizations is interesting. As an adult, if you have spent any amount of time with the youth, they come in at 10 or 12 yrs old, and are considered termed out at 20 or 21. So I have watched a great number of girls come into Jobs Daughters as excited little puppies if you will, and term out as trained, well behaved, ready for the world Young Women. Tonight I had 2 adults, which I watch come through the Organization, one of which has a daughter who just joined. The other adult is coming back to help out after being a daughter. For one young women, Amy Burley, it was her last night being a Jobs Daughter as a member, she installed my Grand Daughter Izzy as Honored Queen, and Amy will now lay aside the Grecian robe, and return to help as an adult on the Council. For Izzy, she is almost half way through her Jobs Daughter membership, before she terms out at 20. And so the circle of membership goes on. It was fun to be a part in the festivities of the installation tonight, but sad to see everyone getting just a little older. Some chapters in lives were closing, some open up. And so goes the circle of life.
