Our Widows, our Charity, its our Mission, and a request to be Charitable

Charity knows no bounds. As people who are able become charitable, those who are doing the best they can, and are struggling, need our care.The Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation has several programs that touch the lives of every Mason in one way or another. The Michigan Child ID program has been around for a long time, but I'll wager that you have not seen how it has evolved.  Click here to see the latest brochure for the Child ID Program.

The Holiday Season is never an enjoyable time for the wife who has lost her husband, and is not living near to any family and is alone.  The Sweetheart Program was recently started to help us keep in touch with our Widows, and make sure they know we care as much for them now, as we ever have. make sure your Lodge tracks all of these women, and takes advantage of this wonderful way to recognize our special ladies. Remember too, that if you have an event for the Widows of your Lodge, the Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation is interested in assisting with up to half of the cost.  It may be a dinner, a wreath at Christmas, A plant at Easter, A gift from the Lodge during the Holiday, or many other ideas the Brothers can develop.  How about Dinner and a Movie for them, with the Lodge Officers taking care of all the details.
