Woke up this morning and took a run over to Bay City for Breakfast
with the Valley of Bay City Scottish Rite. Met with the candidates, one of whom has been service this Grand Lodge for several years, nice to see you Archie. After the Class Picture, I headed over to Clio for a day with Job's Daughters and Rainbow Girls. The Job's honored the men in their lives with tributes from each of the Grand Bethel Officers. when Angie, the Grand Bethel Honored Queen had finished her tribute to her dad Freeman, and I thought we would be going back to our seats, my Daughter Stephanie from Salt Lake City appeared from nowhere, to pay the last tribute, to her father, for his heritage, and her time in Job's Daughters. It was a little awkward, certainly emotional, I'm not used to being the one surprised, actually its only happened a few times in my life. I was pleased to see her, and we spent a few hours together before she vanished as quickly as she appeared. Stephanie, thank you for taking time and coordinating your presence with the Youth to be with this old guy. As I look at this picture, I'm afraid the comment you made in May is starting to flourish. My grays on top are turning fast now..... Its been a great day, I'm exhausted, and I fear it may have shown.... Congrats to Autumn and Sarah in Job's Daughters, and Miss Sarah in Rainbow, on joining with the Greatest Youth I have had the pleasure of working with.
