Coffee Chat, Lunch, a tour and a Board Meeting

Participated in the Masonic Pathways Coffee Chat this morning. Kevin Evans was on deck to facilitate the meeting with the residents. talked about being prepared in the Home in case of emergency and how often the equipment is tested. Spoke with Pastor Ben and met his little 5 year old daughter.  Chatted with residents after the meeting for half hour or so.  Finished up making out my birthday cards for the November Birthdays and Anniversaries of the residents. Lunch was also interesting, since the Home Administrator was out on Business, we had second in charge along. Since it was a room full of guys, I had to direct the thought process to one of information sharing.  Being social creatures, we tend to enjoy sharing our funniest moments with each other.  It seemed lunch was but a few minutes, even though it was an hour. At 1pm we took the new Pathways Bus over to a nursing center nearby, to tour the facility. Very modern, well put together, and efficiently operated.  One of those buildings that appears larger inside than it does from the outside.  The Grand Lodge Board of directors met this afternoon to conduct the business of the Grand Lodge and discuss issues and create action items for Officers to work on. All in all it was a productive day, and I got back home at 10 pm........  Hump Day is just around the minute hand, time to go to bed......
